The Warrington 10K

Cancelled

Event Cancellation - Warrington 10K

Unfortunately due to the current COVID 19 pandemic we have made the decision to cancel the event this year.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly but we feel that the health and wellbeing of our entrants, club members and local residents must come first. It has become clear that as the weeks go on, the pandemic is likely to still be limiting our activities into the summer and it is unlikely that we would be able to run our race in the usual format under these restrictions.

Other races have made the decision to postpone their events, but this is not possible for our race. As it is run on a weekday evening we have a limited window in the summer where we have enough light to complete the race. We have therefore made the decision to cancel the event and come back in 2021 with a strong successful event.

I am gutted to have to cancel our event for this year, but I am confident it is the right decision given the current climate. I hope you will return to race with us in 2021.
